Job Description: Creator Marketing: Senior Social Media Manager

Instagram's Creator Marketing team is seeking a full-time Senior Social Media Manager to manage the @InstagramCreators TikTok channel which inspires, educates and empowers content creators about Instagram. This role will support the editorial lead in executing editorial content and leading community management for the channel.

The ideal candidate is creative, forward-thinking, data-driven and highly attuned to the Instagram Creator and short form video landscape. This individual must have a passion for Instagram as a creative tool and empathy for Creators on the platform.

Based in: New York

Responsibilities

Manage content development, publishing and community management for @InstagramCreators on TikTok
Maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring that programming is strategically-timed, and that it supports key product launches
Oversee production of short-form video features with creators for ongoing series
Source and facilitate outreach to a diverse cast of creators to be feature across social handles
Develop and edit video production briefs and/or scripts with creators
Deliver comprehensive social reporting and measurement on a monthly basis
Oversee on-site social media strategies and execution at major events and conferences
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all business objectives, product launches as well as broader industry challenges and opportunities
Competitive monitoring with a focus on specific category trends and opportunities to optimize content

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree
4+ years of social experience
Experience managing an Instagram account and TikTok account for a global brand
Organizational and project management experience
Experience managing an editorial content calendar
Deep understanding of the creator ecosystem and social trends
Experience with social media measurement and analytics tools
Experience managing response to public issues via social and a sense of judgment around corporate tone
