Job Title: Content Operations - Content Strategist III

Summary:

As a content designer, you will craft simple, straightforward and human content for products and interfaces. Partner with product designers, product managers, researchers and product marketers to plan, create and improve product content. You’ll be expected to design and deliver product flows, new features, in-product messaging, content frameworks, navigation, product naming, information architecture, product terminology, and education and more for platforms like mobile and desktop.

Job responsibilities:

Design, write, edit, test and improve content that makes our products easier to use. This includes product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies and other content across products and experiences.
Give and solicit feedback from your UX design peers in service of building the best products.
Edit and contribute to designs and content in Figma or other design tools.
Collaborate daily with peers in every discipline, including engineering, design, research, marketing and data science, to take products from conception to launch.
Partner with our internationalization and localization teams to ensure product experiences are of the highest quality in every language.
Demonstrate sound judgment and influence product decisions, team direction and strategy.

Skills:

Ability to work independently with minimal direction and handling a large degree of ambiguity.
Experience writing and designing content for web or mobile.
Adept at simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences.
Design thinking, UX writing and communication experience.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required.

Specific to this role:

This role will support Meta Business Suite, which centralizes Facebook, Instagram, and messaging tools in one place so that businesses can save time, create connections with more people, and get better business results.

As a content designer with the team, you will work closely with product management, product design (UX design), UX research, engineering, and your other content design peers. You will be expected to become familiar with the tools and systems we use on a daily basis, such as Figma, Acrolinx, and others. As you become engaged with the cross-functional product team you support, you will need to assess the various projects, make prioritization decisions for yourself and collaborate with your manager when support is needed. You may also be asked to present your work in design reviews. As part of the content design team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with your peers in jam sessions and improve our work in quality workshops and design crits.
